MADE in LA
- Los Angeles is a sprawling metropolis of concrete and air conditioning placed on top of a desert. Without constructed irrigation and other alterations, living here would be practically impossible.

- Young people flock to LA to be made into whatever they want. Any alteration imaginable is right in front of you – you can dye your hair, get breast implants, go to the tanning booth, or get a tattoo in Hollywood.

- The entertainment industry has made LA into its main center. Movies and televsion at their core are all about imagined stories, acting as another, and false environments.

- Each neighborhood is made into a home by different types of people: older couples tend to inhabit Santa Monica, Downtown tends to have single men in lofts (and homeless on Skid Row), Silverlake is controlled by boys in indie bands and girls that drink juice and do yoga, and West Hollywood is one of the most important homes to the gay community in the United States. The vastness of LA means that you must get in your car and actively pursue things. Nothing comes to you here if you do not go after it.

- I was made in LA, and so was this sign of fake flowers.
