Chrissie White was told to write a 200 word bio… she then put on a pair of Sony headphones and instead listened to “Great Gig In The Sky” by Pink Floyd. It was awesome.

Christian lives in Berlin, where he studies geosciences at the University of Potsdam. He’s also a freelance photographer and musician with his Berlin-based band, Mumbles. He loves travelling to lonely places and new cities. His other activities, such as mountain-climbing, concentrate on nature. His photos are a mirror of life. With photography he tries to remind himself of the beauty of his little hometown and the nearby forest in which he grew up with his parents. His childhood was an adventure of leaves and lakes, tree houses and new friends. Now he has broadened his horizons and is living in the big city, excited for the new experiences that await him. His biggest wish is to spend a year in the 70’s. He loves old things: old cameras, old music, old bikes, old houses, and old couches.

Hazel is a UK-based illustrator from the middle of England. She recently graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in illustration. Her work is predominantly free-hand pencil drawing, edited digitally to incorporate colour and texture, and she obtains inspiration from people, fashion and contemporary culture. Her drawing focuses mainly on girls whilst including pretty much anything living – people, animals, all things nature; all people inspire her art. Taking the emotive quality intrinsic to a human being and instilling it in an illustration can produce captivating work. There is a softness and beauty within the female form; it inspires art, architecture, and design, so for Hazel it is the most compelling subject. She uses an F pencil as her preferred tool, but also loves to get messy with ink, letterpress and screen print. Her work consists of editorials, portraiture, personal works and some recent fashion Illustration. Clients include i-D Magazine Online and Audrey Grace Boutique.

Ellisa Goldberg is an eighteen-year-old Ravenclaw who can only write coherently when asleep. Most of her time is spent cutting things out of magazines for collages which will never be made, trying to stay afloat in the ever-growing sea of books she keeps meaning to read, and assuring dubious strangers on the subway that she does, in fact, speak English. She was born in Queens, raised in northern New Jersey, and intends to spend the rest of her natural life in Manhattan, where she has lived since the age of twelve. All her energies are currently being funneled into a desperate campaign to survive her freshman year at NYU, which would probably be easier if there were a legal way for her to make tea in her dorm room.

Ellisa’s name is probably pronounced əllɪsə, but has been butchered so many times over the years that nobody’s really sure anymore. Her hobbies include wearing impressively tall shoes, petting cats, and having dinner at least twice a day. She excels at copyediting and baking, is a fan of the oxford comma and poetry slams, and feels obligated to get a tumblr now that she writes for The Juvenilia.
